On Saturday 25th February our Intendant General, R. Ill. Kt. Steven Groeger made a trip to St. Albans for the annual meeting of the Division of Hertfordshire.
It was a wonderful meeting led by their Intendant General, R.Ill. Kt. Terry Deakin and their Deputy Intendant General, V.Ill. Kt. John Harlow Wicks, at which we saw many Illustrious and Worthy Knights appointed or promoted in Divisional Conclave. We congratulate them all and wish them a very successful year.
The meeting was also attended by a multitude of other guests, which included a total of nine visiting Intendants General and a Past Intendant General, some of whom can be seen in the image below.
We all had a very enjoyable festive board after the meeting and were able to leave at a time that enabled many of us to arrive home in time to watch the Six Nations Rugby match between England and Wales.
While mentioning Wales, on the same day, our Deputy Intendant General, V. Ill. Kt. Kevin Todd and the Divisional Recorder, Ill. Kt. Mark Denton, travelled to Bridgend for the annual meeting of the Division of Monmouthshire and South Wales.
They joined many people travelling to South Wales, although most were travelling to attend the England vs. Wales Rugby match and not the Monmouthshire and South Wales annual meeting. Hopefully they got away from the meeting before the exodus following the match.
