On Tuesday 25th November the Holy Rood Conclave convened at the Kings Court Masonic Centre in Chandlers Ford to welcome the Intendant General R.Ill.Kt. Steven Groeger, members of the Divisional team and the Divisional Sepulchre Guard on his official visit.
Following the opening of the Conclave the Intendant General was admitted under an Arch of Steel and introduced to the Most Puissant Sovereign M.P.Kt. Stephen Abraham. The Sovereign then invited the Intendant General to take the chair which he did for a short period during which he informed the attendees of Grand Imperial and Divisional appointments and dates of important events in 2026. The Intendant General then relinquished the chair to the Sovereign so he could continue with the remaining items of the Conclave.
The Conclave then admitted two Companions into the Order, Companions Phil Wedgebrow and Ed Sabug, in an excellent ceremony.
Both candidates were welcomed by the Sovereign and presented with the Statutes, By-Laws and the Ritual book. They were then presented to the Intendant General who welcomed them into the Order and into the wider aspects of Red Cross Masonry in the Division.
The Intendant General and his team then retired from the Conclave and the remaining business of the Conclave was conducted.
The Conclave was closed and attendees adjourned to the bar and then they proceeded to enjoy a convivial festive board.
