On Thursday 3rd September the Intendant General and his new Divisional team made their first official visit of the new masonic season. The visit was to the Mystic Rose Conclave in Woolston, Southampton. A large turnout from the Divisional team boosted the attendance at the meeting.
Following the opening of the Conclave, the Intendant General was introduced to the acting Most Puissant Sovereign (MPS), Ill. Kt. Mark Gannaway. He briefly presided over the meeting taking the minutes and delivering his customary parish notices.
After relinquishing the chair to the MPS, the Conclave received a talk from V.Ill.Kt. Kevin Todd M.B.E on ‘The Roman Soldier’. This was well received by the Companions who thanked V.Ill.Kt. Kevin for his informative presentation.
The Intendant General then retired from the Conclave, leaving the Conclave to complete the remaining agenda items.
The W.Kts gathered at the bar for informal discussions before proceeding to the festive board which was accompanied by further convivial conversation. The Intendant General expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended to him and his team.
