On Saturday morning 3 October 2026, the Intendant General, R.Ill.Kt. Steven Groeger and Deputy Intendant General, Ill. Kt. Mark Denton attended the Bristol and Somerset Division’s Divisional meeting at Nailsea Masonic Hall.
The meeting was presided over by the Intendant General, R.Ill.Kt. John Housden and was attended by delegates from other Divisions across the UK and many members from Conclaves within their own Division. The event provided an opportunity for ceremony and fellowship.
The Intendant General conducted the meeting exceptionally, particularly as this was his first time presiding at a full Divisional meeting having been unwell at last year’s event.
In his address he expressed gratitude for their attendance and continued support of both individual Conclaves and the wider Division. He reflected on the successes of the previous year and looked forward to building upon them in the coming year, strengthening the Division and encouraging participation across its Conclaves.
The strong attendance at Nailsea reflected the enthusiasm and support for the Order throughout the Division and provided a positive start to the year.
The meeting was an opportunity for all to renew old friendships and forge new ones, enjoying the warmth and fellowship that are integral to the Order.
The meeting concluded in excellent spirits with members looking forward to future meetings and continuing to support the success and friendship of the Bristol and Somerset Division.
