On Wednesday 10th April 2024 the Grand Sovereigns Conclave No. 500 met at Surbiton Masonic Centre in Surrey. The Conclave meets twice a year, first in October at Mark Masons Hall for the installation meeting and the second in April at a location selected by the current Most Puissant Sovereign. This year R. Ill. Kt. Robert Hancock KCC selected the meeting to be held in Surbiton.

In attendance were, The Most Ill. Grand Sovereign, Graham Leslie Flight, together with the Deputy Grand Sovereign, R.Ill.Kt. Chris
MacDonald, and the Grand Eusebius, R.Ill.Kt. Tim L’Estrange, together with 18 current Intendants General, 6 past Intendants General and several Divisional Officers from Surrey.

The April meeting of the Conclave is a lecture meeting. This year Ill.Kt. Mike Neville presented a superb lecture entitled  ‘Masonry and the Development of Forensic Science in Law Enforcement’.

Following the meeting 39 Worthy and Distinguished Knights enjoyed a first-class lunch in the Elizabethan Suite.
