St. Peter and St. Paul Conclave Enthronement meeting

On Thursday 10th September the Puissant Knight’s of St Peter and St Paul Conclave, the Past Sovereign Conclave, met at Botley Masonic Centre for their Enthronement meeting.

After opening the Conclave the MPS, Ill. Kt. Stuart Wooldridge, asked the Puissant Knight to rise and share a moment of silent reflection following the death of P. Kt. Ian Buckett.

He then proceeded with the other agenda items which included the induction of the MPS Elect and the Viceroy Elect.

The Conclave Marshal presented the MPS Elect, V. Ill. Kt Kevin Todd M.B.E, to the MPS and subsequently presented the Viceroy Elect, R. Ill.Kt Steven Groeger Intendant-General, to the Viceroy.

Following the presentations, R.Ill. Kt Steven Groeger was installed as Viceroy by V. Ill. Kt Kevin Todd after which V. Ill. Kt Kevin Todd was then enthroned as MPS in an exceptional ceremony by the MPS, Ill. Kt Stuart Wooldridge.

The new MPS subsequently installed his Conclave officers. All present were very pleased to accept their offices and look forward to a successful year with the new MPS and Viceroy.

The MPS then presented a well-received and informative talk on “The Officers of a Red Cross of Constantine Conclave”.

The talk provided information on each of the Conclave offices and stated that although these offices may appear numerous and their titles may sometimes seem grand, their purpose is remarkably straightforward: to enable the Conclave to work in harmony, to preserve its traditions, to uphold its Christian character, to maintain its fellowship and to ensure that the lessons of the Order are passed from one generation of Knights to the next.

The P. Kts. thanked V.Ill. Kt Kevin for producing and presenting this talk.

The remainder of the agenda items were taken and the Conclave was closed.

The P. Kts. then retired to the bar for refreshments and a buffet supper. After which all departed in good humour and looking forward to the next meeting of the Conclave which will be in February 2027 when it will host the Divisional Appendant Orders ceremony.
